List of Phobias
The American Psychiatric Association define a phobia as an "irrational and excessive fear of an object or situation".
Phobias come in many forms, for example, some sufferrs are frightened of dogs, even small harmless ones with their little wagging tails. There's people who freeze as they're terrified at the thought of public speaking. There's some who have to find alternative transport due to their fear of flying. Some people shake and run for cover at the clap of thunder. Some folk can't even take a ride on an escalator. Some suffer panic attacks that happen for no clear reason. And there's some who sadly who are house bound.
